The 2020's began with a pandemic that changed drastically the face of planet Earth, and profoundly shocked and modified the Human race. Everything we used to know and do, our way of communicating and interacting with one another, and probably most importantly our access to culture changed overnight.

The digitalization of art found a real reason to exist. The canceled shows of music artists were replaced by Youtube home made concerts, art exhibitions were held on Instagram accounts, movies specifically made for the theaters were released directly on streaming platforms. The internet culture had started at the end of the 1990's but it used to be optional. Covid-19 changed that : during lockdowns, internet became essential.

The Letter Club by Nowow wishes to use real actual paper mail to bring back art into people's homes. If one cannot move towards the museum, the museum can invite itself into your mailbox. Do you remember how it feels to receive a letter, passionately hand-written by someone you care about to your personal address ? Today's mailboxes are full of spams : menus from restaurants, paper copies of bills you also receive through emails, advertisement for real estate agencies.

How about registering to a newsletter which would send you actual works of art by mail ? The Nowow Letter wishes to redefine our connection to art by breaking the fourth wall and stepping out of the digital world. How often do you discover works of art by being able to touch them, maybe expose them in your home ?
